Makeup ideas for oily skin

Oily skin is a lot to handle and care for. In spite of all the fear of breakouts, you will want to do makeup anyways. So, don’t worry, you just need to choose right type of makeup for your skin type and there you can go flawless and confident. Here are 4 easy steps for wearing makeup on oily skin.

1.Moisturize: if you have oily skin, you would always want to skip moisturizing. But moisturizing is crucial to your skin. Choose moisturizing gels and make sure they are water based. Oil based Moisturising creams and lotions are not suitable for oily skin.

2.Prime time: Always begin with a oil-free, anti-shine primer if you have an oily complexion. Using a primer helps to smooth, flatter, conceal and hold things in place. Always apply primer before you apply make up.
Avoid applying concealer around the eyes to hide redness and dark circles rather opt for primer specially designed for eyes.

3.Foundation: After applying primer, it’s the turn for foundation. In case of oily skin, it is recommended to use an oil-free foundation. Foundation fills in pores very nicely and gives your skin a flawless look.
If you want best coverage avoid using foundation brush, use your fingertips instead. The heat from the fingertips will help to give your skin a perfect finish.

4.Powder it up: After you apply the foundation, apply a matte translucent powder. Use a face brush to apply the powder. Just sweep the powder across the face in circular motion.
Be sure to choose the correct shade according to the shade of the foundation. Also, don’t overdo the powder. In case you did, just dampen a sponge and blot it over the over powdered area.
Now you can do your eye and lip make up with waterproof products. Also, blush up a little bit. Happy Makeup!!!!
